29 listopa (November) 1918

Commemorative Issue of 1918
On 29 October 1918, the parliament (Sabor) of the Kingdom of Croatia, Slavonia and Dalmatia cut all ties with Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. To commemorate the event, a decision was taken to issue a special set of postal stamps.
The stamps were in use only one day – on 29 November 1918 – in about 234 post offices across Croatia. Consequently, all used stamps should bear postmark with this date.
