Greasy effect created by gum that penetrated paper

Gum
Gum on filler denominations are known to exist in many varieties: white, yellowish or brown yellow, even grayish or reddish (on 25 filler) were reported. Sometimes it unrefined and contains black dots and other impurities. The gum can be applied thinly, thickly, evenly or unevenly. Many times parts of a pane remained without gum. Sometimes gum penetrates paper which creates an impression of greasiness.
